Ser Vardis Egen is the captain of the household guard at the Eyrie. During Jon Arryn’s stay in King’s Landing as Hand of the King, he had served as his captain of the guards. He is stocky and silver-haired. He has a square, plain face. and is heavy, with no humor whatsoever.
